God has called us to be a unique fellowship of believers who desire to experience the pleasure of His presence in the context of the racially reconciled Body of Christ.    The heart of God is for believers everywhere to be united in love and  concern for one  another.  Jesus prayed “…may they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me” (John 17:23).

In this prayer of Christ, unity is described as to be our WITNESS to the world about God’s concern for those who have not yet received Him.  Our unity is the banner that                          announces to the lost that Jesus came to offer all of us eternal life.  The oneness of the followers of Christ communicates the power and reality of God’s love for us.

Our purpose of existence is discovered through the unity we experience in Christ … “to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength…and to love our neighbor as ourselves” (Matthew 22:36-40).  We are passionate about loving God and each other.  We express our love through acts of service to one another and to the community around us.  Our love and concern extends beyond ourselves and our community to our world.

I am so glad that I am part of a racially reconciled and passionately purposeful people united in Christ Jesus. The Dayspring Church family is fulfilling the vision to be a passionate, diverse, ever-growing Body of Christ’s followers.  I hope that you will come and connect to the Dayspring Church fellowship.

Dayspring … we are there for you!

Revelation 7:9-10

… there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: "Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb."
